18 Gold Coaches:
Randy has been involved with youth sports for the past 26 years. He played baseball at the high school, semi-pro and minor league levels before coaching boy’s baseball. Coaching at the select baseball level, his teams had great success nationally. Now, coaching girl’s fastpitch for the past 10 years, Randy helps to develop strong leaders and highly competitive athletes. As the 18 Gold coach for Washington Speed, Randy and his team have traveled to play in national tournaments so the girls can participate at the college exposure level. His teams have experienced a high success rate with many girls being offered college scholarships; helping advance their education and become strong leaders in society. As part of the Washington Speed Organization he strives to develop these young ladies in a manner so that they are leaders on & off the field, and become positive influential members of society. Randy’s attention to detail and focused leadership abilities provide a foundation for success for the entire organization.
18G Assistant Coach / Catching Coach:
Ryan Haddock has been working in youth sports since 1999. He started with Boys baseball in the Black Hills Youth Baseball Association and successfully coached multiple teams to state title games, both at the 10U and 12U levels. He has now moved on to the world of girl’s fastpitch with similar success. With a distinct focus on the process of learning and how to handle adversity, all of his teams have finished seasons with winning records. While head coach for the 12U Olympia Bulldogs, they were able to successfully win the NSA State Championship and place 3rd in an ASA State Championship. Over the past 5 seasons working in a variety of areas for different organizations; all of his teams have not only been successful with their win/loss ratio, but also they have made great strides in the player’s sportsmanship and leadership abilities. Ryan is aligned and works with several nationally recognized coaches in hitting instruction, catcher training and confidence development. Ryan’s combination of coaching experience and affiliations has provided a strong foundation for success for his players, on and off the field.
